Riding a motorcycle is an exciting experience for those who have got a passion for it. It is not like driving a car; it has got the raw feeling of the journey. Almost nothing comes between the rider and the road to protect. It is a raw drive sitting on the top of the vibrating and roaring engine. 
A motorcycle trip is very exciting and exhilarating but it is dangerous too. If proper safety measures are not taken, then it can cost ones life. There are a few safety measures which are followed by the bikers while going for the trips on the long roads.
Wearing the helmet is the first and the basic rule of riding the motorcycle. Riding without one can be deadly. Always follow the traffic rules; never exceed your speed limit. Controlling the lanes is vital. One should never share their lanes with other cars or trucks. The motorcycle should be positioned in such a way that no other vehicle on the highway can share the lane. While giving a pass make sure that you have enough space for your motorcycle.
Brakes and tires should be checked thoroughly before starting the journey. Check the brake fluid; it should have no air in it. The tires should be checked for any damages and the pressure should be exactly what is required.
If traveling in a group, try to follow the lead bike. Always try avoiding chats while riding. The most important rule for a motorcycle trip is never ride after drinking it can cost you your life.
